Heather Bullard- Certified CrossFit Level 3 Trainer & PN-Level 1 Nutrition Coach
Heather has been married for 20 years to her high school sweetheart, Shane, and they have two kids, Maddie (18) and Hank (16). She was introduced to Crossfit in 2017, when a neighbor invited her to a workout. From that moment on, she was hooked.
A competitive athlete her whole life, Heather was intrigued by the Crossfit community and driven nature of the sport.
“That was the first time, as an adult, that I had ever met people like myself…highly competitive, goal-oriented people, that never sat still long.”
In 2018, Heather obtained her PN-1 Nutrition Certification, 2019 completed her CF-Level 1, in 2021 completed the CF-Level 2, and became a Certified CrossFit Level 3 Trainer in 2023. With Brett recently moving to California, Heather is now one of the lead coaches responsible for the continuation of RWOL and its mission.
“Crossfit RWOL has filled a piece of the puzzle that was missing for me. Their investment has made me a better coach and person.”
Her favorite part of coaching is pushing people out of their comfort zones, mentally and physically.
“Nothing motivates me more as a coach than when people haven’t yet realized their capabilities…when they look at a task, and think there’s no way they can accomplish it. But when they do, you should see their faces…the exact moment they realize they made it…it’s priceless. And that’s what it’s all about.”
Sherry Palmer- Crossfit Level 2 Trainer
Sherry earned her CrossFit L-1 Certification in July 2017 and joined the RWOL family in September of that same year. She has continued her CrossFit coaching journey completing the CrossFit L-2 Certification in 2021.
Sherry has always been encouraged by her husband of over 25 years, Ben, and their three kids: Gabe, Abbie, and Camden. Her family has been a vital part of Sherry’s journey into the world of CrossFit training.
As a Registered Nurse, Sherry has always understood the importance of exercise for the overall health of mind and body. Although did not start her fitness journey until later in life, it has become an important part of her daily routine. After trying other exercise programs, Sherry found CrossFit to be a lifestyle that anyone and everyone could benefit from, no matter their age, level or athletic ability. She believes that CrossFit is not only effective, it’s just plain FUN!
Sherry has been inspired by the CrossFit RWOL core values and the incredible family that together promote wholeness of life for all of its members. She believes RWOL provides a fun, family centered community while encouraging you to become better than yesterday.
Jack Johnson- CrossFit Level 2 Trainer
Jack Johnson has been a part of CrossFit RWOL since 2018 but has been involved in fitness since the turn of the century. He is the proud father of one spectacular boy, Rhett. Jack is passionate about wildlife, but physical health and well being is a driving force in his life. Growing up in a family that diabetes runs rampant Jack didn’t ever want it to be something to worry about personally and longs for others to experience that wholeness. His love for CrossFit is mainly for the community and accountability. It’s ridiculously easy to stop when fighting alone. CrossFit puts a whole community in one's corner and makes staying in the fight possible. When not CrossFitting or wrangling wildlife, Jack can be found playing guitar.
Chris Reichel- CrossFit Level 2 Trainer
Chris has been a part of the RWOL family for about 5 years, and obtained his L-1 in December of 2019, and recently became a L-2. He admires the leadership and mentorship that Brett instills into his coaches and community at the gym.
"I love the core values RWOL stands for - Restoring Wholeness Of Life. For me, that means being the best I can be in my spiritual, emotional, and health walk for myself, my kids, family, and friends. I’m passionate about serving others and enjoy connecting with everyone that walks through the doors. I value and appreciate the community at RWOL."
Outside of the gym, Chris spends as much time as possible with his two kids, Jaxen and Ava. They like attending church, and enjoy serving on the weekends. Chris also loves anything outdoors, riding bikes, or just chillaxin and watching movies.
Austin Woods- CrossFit Level 1 Trainer
“It’s an absolute honor to be a part of the coaching team here at RWOL. I love that I get to be a part of this great community and serve in a role that helps people become better than they were yesterday.
Restoring wholeness of life is what RWOL is all about. Physical, Emotional, Mental, Financial, Relational, and Spiritual Restoration. I know for me, the CrossFit community here at RWOL has created some of the most impactful relationships in my life.
Community is what draws people in, but I believe at RWOL, it’s the love of Christ that makes people want to stay.
Proverbs 27:17 says, “As Iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
This verse really sticks out to me with what is happening at RWOL. We get to grow together and suffer together through tough workouts that push us to be better each day. We get to celebrate in personal victories and come alongside one another in prayer and love when there’s a tragedy.
Don’t be intimidated by the workout of the day. Everything can be modified to accommodate skill level or previous injuries. I encourage you to try it out!”
